Those first weeks with a new baby are a blur of emotion, exhaustion and quiet moments you’ll want to remember forever.

My newborn sessions are calm, baby-led and centred around your whole family — capturing not just your newborn, but the connection between parents, siblings and this newest little person in your lives.

I photograph newborns, babies and families across South Armagh, Newry, Dundalk and Castleblayney, creating timeless images that feel natural, relaxed and full of meaning.

My Approach

Newborn photography doesn’t need to feel stressful or rushed.

Sessions are unhurried and flexible, with plenty of time for feeds, cuddles and settling. If your baby does not sleep, we can still get incredible images and there is no pressure on siblings to behave a certain way. Some of the most beautiful images come from real, unscripted moments. So the take away is….you don’t have to worry.

Sibling involvement is a huge part of my work. From gentle curiosity to big cuddles (and everything in between), I welcome children of all ages and guide them in a way that feels natural and supportive.

You don’t need to worry about how your family will “perform” — that’s my job.

 

SESSION TYPES & PRICES

  • A relaxed, comprehensive session designed to capture your baby and your family together.

    This option allows time for:

    • Individual images of your newborn

    • Natural family and sibling photographs

    • A calm, baby-led pace throughout

    • A mix of gently guided and organic moments

    This is ideal if you want a full record of this stage — from tiny details to family connection.

    Sessions include up to four hours shooting time in my lifestyle studio or in your home* (Addditional charge for home sessions)

  • A shorter newborn session focusing on your baby priced at an affordable £235

    They will be the star of the show and will be swaddled in all images. The shoot includes use of extensive props, wraps and headbands

    This session is perfect if you’d like:

    • Beautiful, timeless newborn images

    • A lighter, more concise session lasting up to 1 hour

    • Perfect as gifts for expecting friends and families.

    Availability is limited each month. ONLY suitable for newborns up to 3 weeks old.

    Additional images can be purchased for £25 each or you can upgrade to your whole gallery for an extra £149

  • Sitter sessions are for babies who can sit independently but are not yet walking.

    These sessions celebrate personality and expression and growing confidence and it is the perfect ‘next stage’ session

    What’s included:

    - A 30 - 40 minute session for your little one
    - All edited digital images from the shoot
    - Five 8×6 prints
    - Use of props & Client Closet
    - One backdrop

    A session fee of £99 is taken to secure a booking date.

    If you received a £50 sitter voucher with your newborn Moments Package, this can be used against the price of your session.

Studio Vs Home Shoot?

Studio Sessions

Most newborn sessions take place in my warm, calm studio, which is fully prepared for newborn photography. Everything you need is here — from beautiful wraps and props to a relaxed, comfortable environment where you can sit back and enjoy the experience.

The studio is heated for your baby’s comfort and allows me to work efficiently while keeping the session gentle and unhurried. It’s an ideal option if you’d like a peaceful setting without needing to prepare your home.

Home Sessions

Home sessions take place in your own space and focus on documenting those early days just as they are — cuddles on the sofa, feeding moments and quiet family interactions in a familiar environment.

These sessions work best in homes with good natural light and enough space to work comfortably. Because home sessions require additional time for travel, setup and working with varying light conditions, there is an additional £75 charge, plus mileage for journeys over a 30-mile round trip.

Siblings

A newborn session is a family affair.

Siblings of all ages are welcome to the full Newborn Family Session and encouraged to be part of your session. I’ll guide them gently, keep things light, and work at their pace. If little ones need breaks — that’s completely fine. There is always flexibility built in.

Many parents worry about how siblings will behave, but these interactions often become some of the most treasured images.

I will take you step by step with all of my time tested tips for getting those precious shots
